When Technology Fails

Sometimes i get so frustrated when i cant get a computer to do what i want it too. Yesterday i wanted to get a hands up on everything so i did my excel assignments and when i went to open them today it said the file was non exsiting or it was corrupted. When i want to be a good student and get my work done way ahead of time, i just get more behind. Not all the time, but it always seems to let me down when i need it the most. Now that i just spend another hour on it, i figured that could be what my last blog was about. Even though i hate computers sometime, i could never live without it.

Today in Creative Dance class, TC was talking about the budget cuts again and an ROTC memeber had told us he also got cut backs. He said he usually would get 500 a month from the ROTC program and he ended up with 200 because of the cut. Why as educators and people fighting for our country, being looked at as the bad guys? Why in the world would they take away our programs to educate when we need educated people! I was also told that the middle class will end up dissapearing and the rich will get richer, and poor will get poorer. Which in turn will just end up leading to another civil war within our country. This is the worst time to be graduating for a job. I am so upset that what I want to do with my life is being ruined by budget cuts and pay freezes. I hope I can make my voice heard, and change this before I graduate so i can actually have a chance to be somebody like i planned on doing by going to college and becoming an educated person. (not to mention how much money i will be in dept for getting there)

Technology

So this efolio is a pain. I was so scared when liquid got spilled on my computer by a friend, because my whole technology folder was on it. If i would have had to of start from scratch for my EFOLIO, i probably would have just stopped. Dr. Leight wouldnt have been happy, but i didnt listen like i should of and saved it in multiple places. I did however get my hard drive and put it on my brothers computer to take my school things off of it to put it on my old one. Thank god for my brother, and my mamma, cause i wouldnt have been able to get it off in time to complete it. Hope i never have to do something like that again.

Scheduling

Since most of us "seniors" just finished up scheduling today, i would like to know how you feel about the new scheduling system. For me, it was actually pretty fast and easy, and i didnt have to worry about getting "timed out" once i was in and had my numbers plugged in. From my understanding the new system still has a lot of things wrong with it. My problem was however, not enough class space for the seniors. Since most of us only have 2 more semesters left, we cant stay any longer than we have too. I always wondered whhy certain classes were only in the fall or spring. I think we should invest in more teachers which will in turn be able to open more sections so we dont really have to worry about if were going to graduate on time. All i have to say is one more semester of scheduling, and this girl is outttta here!!!
